火熱的事奉（何偉傑弟兄）
記得這是教會在2014年8月23日舉辦的全堂退修會，講員是謝仲賢牧師，主題是「火熱的事奉」。我被謝牧師的主題所感動：再次看這相片，提醒這個「80後」的耆英，事奉主不甘後人！回想當日更在唱詩「祢是耶穌，我的一切」，以讃美歌聲朝見神！
我是在1967年才決志信主的。在這50多年的事奉學習中，到了晚年雖然有點長進，卻仍然未有盡心、盡性、盡意、盡力愛主！面對神為我和家人所賜下的平安，祝福和恩惠，實在深感不配！所以當日在退修會後的按手禱告環節，我立刻請求謝牧師和師母代禱：我要感謝天父的慈愛，更盼望祂差遣我為主作工，把握機會盡力服侍主、服務人！願主繼續燃起我及家人的事奉心，奉主名求。阿們！
Serving with Passion (Ken Ho)
I remember this was our church retreat held on August 23, 2014. The speaker was Rev. Philip Tse, and the theme was “Serving with Passion.” I was deeply moved by Pastor Philip’s message. Looking at this photo again reminds this 80-year-old senior that serving the Lord should be diligent and not fall behind! On that day, I also remember we sang “You Are Jesus, My Everything,” praising God as we came before Him!
I began following Christ in 1967. After over 50 years of serving and learning, I have realized, especially in my later years, that while I might have made some progress, I still have not loved the Lord with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength! Considering the peace, grace and countless blessings that the Lord has given to me and my family, I feel truly undeserved. And so, during the laying on of hands and intercession at the end of the retreat, I asked Pastor Philip and Gladys to pray for me: I want to thank my Heavenly Father for His loving kindness, and I hope He will send me to do His work. I want to seize every opportunity to serve Him and others! May the Lord continue to ignite the heart of service in me and my family. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
